Where Christmas never ends...
Here at the North Pole, we keep our festive decorations displayed all year. It’s not because our job is to make the toys and gifts that I deliver once a year. And it’s not out of laziness that we don’t take them down. We keep our wreaths hanging, the lights twinkling, and a star on the top of every tree as a reminder to keep Christmas in our hearts every day of the year. Yes, we shouldn’t need to be reminded, but everyone has a bad day or perhaps some rough times when it becomes more difficult to be caring of heart and generous with your spirit. So why not keep one holiday decoration or treasure where you can see it every day? Next to my bedside, I keep a beautiful snowglobe that was given to me by Mrs. Claus nearly a century ago. She captured me flying through the air, and every time I look at this reminder, I reach inside myself and bring back the warmth and love and joy that I feel at Christmas. What do you do for yourself? Think of how you can spread this feeling to just one person. Then imagine if everyone took this advice. My Christmas wish would be fulfilled because the spirit of the season would be alive and well in everyone all year ‘round!
