You oughtta be in pictures: The Sequel
In my last post, I wrote about my favorite holiday films. It reminds me that so many fine actors have donned the red suit and beard to play me. What a wonderful tribute! With all of these different actors playing my role, I can think of a few who haven’t yet done it but whom I would love to see give it a try. Sean Connery, for one, would make a wonderful Santa Claus, don’t you think? And I would so enjoy seeing Clint Eastwood in the role, because he has such wonderful crinkles around his eyes already and is a much kinder person that his movie roles demonstrate. “Go ahead, make my toys!” I think that Robin Williams would capture my fun-loving spirit. Oh, and Mrs. Claus says she’d like to see Brad Pitt in the role of Santa, but I think she has different reasons….
