Sweet treats...
I love wandering into the kitchen in the afternoons these days. The smell of cookies baking for the hard-working elves is just too wonderful to resist! And I have to keep my Santa waistline plumped up! Every day, I get to sample a different cookie, still warm from the oven. Some of my favorites are snickerdoodles, sugar cookies, and anything with chocolate! Do you have a Christmas cookie favorite? If so, here’s a thought, bake some extra and make a delicious gift for someone who would enjoy an extra boost of sweetness. Think about your neighbors, a senior citizen, the local police or fire department, and the people who volunteer — at church, school, the animal shelter, or any of the local non-profit organizations. Nothing warms the heart like home-baked cookies — believe me, I know!!!!!
