The gift of time.
How long is your gift-giving list this year? Are you feeling pressured to head to the mall to find the right presents for everyone on your list? Is money a little tight this year? Well, before you say, “Bah, humbug!” and cross people off your list (they’re there for a good reason, I’m sure), here’s a suggestion. Give the gift of time! Make a present of giving of yourself.
Need a teacher gift? Offer to volunteer in the class for a special event. Give someone a gift certificate that is redeemable for you to wash their car, cook a nice meal, clean the house, or mow the lawn. This is an especially wonderful way for children to give something special! Help them make their own gift certificates. Make the wording fun. For the expiration date, write “Until you need my help” or “Twelfth of never”. When you give of yourself, you can be sure the gift will be treasured! And remember...Giving of yourself is Joyous Santa Guaranteed!
Til tomorrow! Keep up the good work.
Love,
Santa
